On 05/27/2022 Tumblr user @partyjockers blew the whistle on the deplorable behavior of a member of Tumblr staff by revealing that: Staff member @jezzuminah engages in antisemitic, transphobic, and predatory behavior.
As of 05/28/2022 user, @partyjockers was completely terminated from Tumblr entirely. The post was deleted and all reblogs, and the images within the post were banned. To document this behavior I have compiled screenshots from the blog itself into a google document. While transphobia, predatory behavior, and antisemitism are all horrific, this document is meant to detail how Tumblr staff is selective when it comes to banning and scrubbing posts from the site.

An initial Tumblr search reveals that they are very prevalent within the Harry Potter community for drawing shipping art of Hermoine and Draco.
JKR is a prolific and violent transphobe who has gone on record to state that support of her work indicates you support her message. Not to mention the series itself is both racist and antisemitic. Nagini is one of few Asian characters in the entire series, assumedly she is Indonesian. She is portrayed most often as a giant snake; Using snake imagery to describe an Asian character is inherently racist. Making Nagini a literal snake is an act of racism. The portrayal of the goblins in the series reeks of antisemitism as well. The goblins in the series work at the singular bank, have large noses, green skin, and are greedy all of which are stereotypes rooted in antisemitism. On the other hand, the elves are a race of creatures “inherently” subservient to wizards who lack autonomy, for the most part, characters have even been noted to claim that the elves like being enslaved. Harry Potter is littered with eugenics as well, the main villain believes in the pureblood supremacy of wizards and that those who have mixed blood should either be servants or eliminated. This is on top of the aged-up ship art she draws of six-year-olds. For those unaware, the characters featured here are Damian and Anya from the popular anime Spy x Family. Both of these characters are canonically 6-years-old. Jezzuminahs aged them up with the sole intent of featuring them in shipping art. Jezzuminahs is 27. Aging children up so you can ship them and claim they are romantically involved is predatory and pedophilic in nature
There is also the fanart from Attack on Titan. As many of you know, the author Isayama is a Japanese imperialist and nazi sympathizer. His views are prolific throughout his work. Many of the characters are named after people or events related to atrocities committed either during the Holocaust or during the Japanese occupation of Korea. For example, Eren Jeager is named after the Jeager Report. Another minor character, Dot Pixis, was based on Japanese general Akiyama Yoshifuru. Yoshifuru is directly responsible for countless atrocities committed against Chinese and Korean prisoners of war.
The most egregious of all this is that staff has begun a silencing campaign to keep this quiet. Within 24 hrs of making the first post calling this out, user @partyjockers was completely terminated from Tumblr entirely. The post was deleted and all reblogs, and the images within the post were banned. When I made a similar post, within 37 minutes the images were removed.

Again, I believe the complete termination of partyjockers is the worst part of this. Staff has a history of allowing serial harassers, terfs, nazis, and fascists to remain on this site despite countless reports and documentation. Staff also has a history of banning black bloggers for saying the n-word, and let's not forget the period of time in which black bloggers were terminated for being “Russian spies”. For any other person, it would take months before you even hear back about a report, but for jezzuminah, the deletion of proof happened swiftly and immediately. partyjockers was terminated within 24 hours of his post, the post was completely wiped from Tumblr, and all reblogs were scrubbed too.
More than anything, this situation is proof that staff does have the power to entirely deplatform people for deplorable behavior, but they instead abuse that power to cover for one of their own.
A statement from the person who got nuked itself: I did not call for harassment against Jas, the staff member whose blog I took screenshots of (public information btw, and linked directly from staff’s @humans blog, by choice). My original statement was a remark on how there’s nothing done to ban and prevent terfs and fascists on Tumblr, and how Jas actively participated in fandoms whose media is prolific with the ideology, and in the case of Harry Potter, JKR takes any support of her work as support of her beliefs, as well as directly funding transphobia (specifically transmisogyny). I would understand if this was a 15 or 14-year-old who’s still into Harry Potter, but this is a 27-year-old. She is able to understand that by posting fanart, doing video essays defending Harry Potter and specifically Harry Potter ships allegorical to real-life issues, she is actively defending JKR and her writing at this point. If you’re able to consume JKR’s content while knowing all that she’s done, that is damning information for me. So I posted to let others know, and it got notes, and I thought at most I’d have a bunch of “fiction is not reality'' people on the post. Because even if it would have been reported, I would not have retaliation against me as there is a large community of terfs and fascists on the site that have been repeatedly reported by me and my friends.
I posted this around 4 PM on May 27th, specifically highlighting these two groups in correlation to the media this staff member was consuming because to me the themes presented in the media corresponded with these hate groups. At 1:44 PM May 28th I got an email that my blog was terminated. The email states that I was harassing Jas, but as we all know I only posted two screenshots. Staff has not been able to take direct action against very obvious hate groups festering in Tumblr but was able to flex its muscles on one person. Their priorities were kinda cemented from there, and so I remade and posted the email right before heading into work. This has happened before, with black bloggers posting about Black Lives Matter, and for those prolific in the Ferguson uprising tags. They have also terminated bloggers who’ve insulted terfs on posts but not dealt with the reports of harassment for transfem bloggers. Whether they like it or not, staff is showing their asses with an extreme bias when it comes to implementing rules, and have done nothing to actually protect marginalized groups on Tumblr. I honestly hope that with this situation something good comes of this and changes for the better, but that might have to include some staff reshuffling as a suggestion. Staff needs to do better.
